DESCRIPTION:http://slr.lu/event-343332\n\n\nDear colleague\,\n     It is a great honor to welcome you all on behalf of the Cardiac Imaging section of the Royal Belgian Radiological Society. We have the great pleasure to invite you all to the symposium entitled "How to perform Cardiac CT in Clinical Practice"\, which will take place in the beautiful city of Antwerp on Saturday October 1st 2011.\n    The advances made in Cardiac CT in recent years have led to a widespread dissemination of this technique outside specialized academic centers\, and the numbers of examinations performed are rapidly increasing. Nevertheless\, many obstacles can inhibit its correct implementation in clinical practice\, as such making the acceptance of this technique in a specific clinical and radiological environment less obvious. As such\, an exciting and promising technique can be prematurely misjudged and never receive the attention it diserves. The aim of this symposium is therefore to review the technical\, clinical and ethical aspect of the daily implementation of cardiac CT in clinical practice\, reviewing several viewpoints and discussing state-of-the-art equipment from different manufacturers.\n    We have assembled a faculty composed by recognized experts in their field. Together with an attractive symposium location in the center of Antwerp\, all components are present to make this meeting a day to remember.\n    Please don't hesitate to contact us for any more information.
